What to Bring to a Mobile Notary Appointment in Orange County, FL

Notarizing soon? Here’s how to be ready in two minutes.

Booking a mobile notary should be easy. A little prep makes the appointment even faster. Here’s your checklist.

1. A valid, unexpired photo ID
Your notary must verify who you are before notarizing anything. A driver’s license, passport, or state ID card works. If your ID is expired, we can’t proceed, so check the date before we meet.

2. Your document, unsigned
Don’t sign ahead of time. Most notarizations require you to sign in front of the notary, so wait until we’re together.

3. Every signer, with their own ID
Everyone named on the document needs to be present and bring a valid photo ID.

4. A complete document
Fill in all blanks beforehand. Notaries can’t give legal advice or choose what goes in your document, so if you have questions about the content, ask the document’s issuer or an attorney first.

5. Witnesses, if your document requires them
Some documents, like wills, require witnesses. Ask whoever requested the document, or let us know when you book, and we’ll help you plan.

6. A quiet spot to sign
Some documents include private information, so a quiet corner at your home, office, or coffee shop works best.

7. Payment
We accept Zelle, Venmo, and credit cards. Travel fees are agreed on before we arrive, so there are no surprises.
